October: Month of Aquamasters
Along with the two events postponed from May, Arena Aquamasters Swimming Championships will be held in three weeks in October.
All three stages of the 2020 International Arena Aquamasters Swimming Championships are rescheduled to October after the Göcek and Marmaris events had to be postponed due to coronavirus restrictions. The new programme is as follows:
12th International Arena Aquamasters Swimming
Championships, Marmaris, 9-11 October 2020
13th International Arena Aquamasters Swimming
Championships, Göcek, 16-18 October 2020
14th International Arena Aquamasters Swimming Championships, Bodrum, 29 October - 1 November 2020
The most comprehensive swimming event of Turkey incorporates the Turquoise Swimming Series, a new category which focuses on the persistent participation of the swimmers, for the first time this year. Those who participate in all three stages will be ranked and awarded according to their aggregate time. Swimmers of age 11 to 13 will be scored in 1km and 2km courses while the 14-24 category and the master age groups up to 84 are eligible for 1km, 2km, 3km and 5km races.
