Historical City Awaits 23 April

International Bursa Osmangazi Historical City Run will be held on 23 April. The race course is now officially measured.

The major road running event of Bursa includes a 15km race and a public run at a distance of 4km. The 15km, which attracts national and foreign elite athletes as well, is measured by the French IAAF/AIMS A Grade Road Race Measurer Jean-Marie Grall, who had been entrusted with measuring the marathon and race walking courses in several Olympic Games and World Championships. During the measurement, Grall was assisted by the local measurers Rıdvan Doğan and Rıfat Arabacı. The race will be granted an IAAF/AIMS Road Race Course Certificate in its 12th edition this year.

To register with the 12th International Bursa Osmangazi Historical City Run, a form must be filled out at www.osmangazimarathon.net. The race offers USD 2,000 to the winner of the 15km, and the master athletes making the podium will pocket cash prizes in each age category.
